Interesting day
Jan. 25th, 2005 08:40 pmGeography class was beginning, and the professor was having trouble getting everyone's attention. I decided to help her out using the Bridget Jones technique: as loud as you can, yell out "Oy!"
Got the results from the biopsy taken from one of my cats, who's had problems with his teeth in recent months. The problem appears to be a form of gingivitis.
My father was having trouble with opening attachments in Mozilla Thunderbird. It will only let him right-click and save them, then open them from the hard drive. My recommendation was to reinstall it, which I'll have to do because I seem to be the only person in the house who knows how to use a computer any more.
It was my mother's birthday today. Got take-out for dinner, because we hate sitting in a restaurant for two hours while my father chews each bite a hundred times.
When we got home, there was a message on the machine from the pet store I applied to. I called them back, and now have a meeting tomorrow afternoon at 1:45.
Wish me luck! At the same time, wish me luck that it'll snow and my art history class will be cancelled, because I'm just not in the mood.
