Been thinking about the last week, and the determination shown by Londoners to move on from the events. I realized that my father survived having his house levelled by a bomb in the Blitz (he was born a month and a half after the beginning of WWII), my parents survived having a freight train derail, leak hazardous waste, and catch on fire a few miles from their house in Mississauga twenty-five years ago, and I've been evacuated from a school that recieved a bomb threat, had a house blow up a block away from mine, and had a police standoff with some drunk and stoned guy standing on a roof next door to mine.
I think my family is bad luck!
