Today I need to clean my room and type up some notes for my assignment. Around midnight, I need to do my last quiz, then the assignment/exam is the last thing I need to do and my course is complete.

On Friday, I leave for a family reunion in Windsor, probably coming back Sunday or Monday. It's for my grandfather's family, and I'll be spending most of my time scanning in and printing off family photos, avoiding my great aunt who is so desperate for conversation that she will go up to people time after time and ask "And how are you doing David?" (About the same as when you asked me half an hour ago), and listening to every relative over the age of forty tell me "I haven't seen you since you were a little baby!" (Well maybe you should visit more often!)

If I had enough money, I'd make a bee-line for the casino and spend the weekend in front of a slot machine.

People are idiots. I'm sorry, but there's no nice way of saying that. People are idiots.

For example the two dead people in a dump truck hit by a train in North Carolina. They were going around a lowered level crossing gate and got hit. HELLO?! The gate is lowered for a reason! And even if there were a chance of beating the train, you wouldn't be doing it in a dump truck!

Meanwhile, in my town they changed the rules so trains can't blow their whistles at crossings at night. So any moron who is too drunk out of his skull to hear a train coming gets flattened. And then people blame the railway for the accident. It's not like the train jumped off the tracks and chased the guy down the road! He was trespassing and wasn't paying attention. Just like the truck driver--they were doing something stupid and got what they earned. Don't blame the railways for that!
