An open message to cats everywhere
Oct. 13th, 2005 09:59 pmMy feline friends:
Would it be possible for you to kill and eat your mice outside on the back porch of the house? It's a bit less discouraging to find them dead outside than it is to find them dead in the front hall. Thanks.
In other news, my Tudor and Stuart history class was cancelled on Tuesday and my Political Theory class was cancelled today, so I got a bit of extra time on those days. Plus, I had no class Wednesday (the Canadian history professor likes to take Thanksgiving week off) so this has been quite a good week for me. Of course, the next two weeks will be miserable; an assignment due on Tuesday and a midterm on Thursday, followed by an assignment and midterm due the following Tuesday. All that on top of my regular reading. Fun fun.
Course selection starts for my section a week from tomorrow. Hope I get the classes I want!
We think we've traced the cause of my dry skin. We think that it's the laundry detergent used for my pillowcases and bedsheets. They're being washed in a different detergent today, so we'll see what happens.
One drawback to having the Google News RSS feeds on the Google main page--when the feeds don't work, the entire URL is displayed--all 100 or so characters of it. So my home page is rather stretched at the moment.
Well, I've got the last 15 pages of Plato's Phaedo to read. Aloha!
