Four pages down, six to go for my Tudor and Stuart History paper. I'm aiming for only five more pages, though, since it's due Tuesday. After this, I get two days to write 8 pages for political science, and four days to research and write 1250 words for philosophy. After that, I get two whole weeks to myself. I'll probably spend the whole time catching up on reading for classes. I don't know how people write 80 page theses for their degrees--I couldn't do it (and hopefully won't have to!) I'm still trying to be optimistic, though. I've done this before this semester, and haven't done too badly. All the same, I think I'll be starting my Canadian History II paper in December. Maybe I'll do the impact of road construction on towns and cities in Canada--should be interesting.

For all my moping about not having a girlfriend, it's probably just as well that I don't yet. I'm flat broke and in debt, working two hours a week for my father (every time I think I'm out, they pull me back in), and busy working on essays and school reading. And when I do have free time, I spend what little money I have on myself. I don't know how people manage it. It doesn't really help that I can be self-absorbed and aggressive when I'm not withdrawn and miserable.
