"POPE Benedict XVI has warned rampant commercialisation was polluting the religious meaning of the Christmas holiday as he gave the Angelus blessing at the Vatican."

Sorry, Benny. If Charlie Brown couldn't convince people, nobody else will.

In other news, I saw Rent with my mother yesterday. Quite a nice movie, if a bit explicit at times. The actors were very good. We're probably going to see Pride and Prejudice today if we get a chance. It doesn't seem like it's being received well--only a couple theatres are showing it.

Today will be an entertaining day. The TV station A&E is playing three brand new Agatha Christie shows back-to-back. "The Mystery of the Blue Train," "After the Funeral," and "Cards on the Table." Should be quite fun :)
