Didn't do as much as I wanted to/should have today because my mother's car had to go in for service, so I had to driver her to/from work. My car's going to have to go in soon. I'm starting to get lousy reception on the car radio. I keep getting loud bursts of static on bumps and cracks in the road that I wasn't getting before, probably because of the badly corroded connection between the antenna and the radio. Who ever heard of a screw-on antenna on a car?

Copied all my bookmarks over to Safari and uninstalled Firefox, so now I just have one browser. There's one less program to take up space. I even found extensions that copy the functions of Adblock and the extra search engines you can install in Firefox, so I have everything I need. Just wish the interface was a bit prettier. Found some nice Dashboard widgets too; one is a graphic that shows the phases of the moon, and the other resembles a photo frame that you can put a 4x6 ratio picture into and look at whenever you launch the Dashboard. Makes me wish I had a picture of a girlfriend to gaze at longingly every time I hit F11! ;) Guess I'll have to make do with the Gmail inbox indicator that looks like a British postage stamp. I've got about half the hard drive space occupied--that's the fullest I've ever gotten a computer.

Got my seminar reading done for a course tomorrow, and came to a conclusion about the textbook readings from two of my courses: they are totally useless, so I won't feel as guilty for skipping them this weekend. The lectures already give way too much information--the books just make it worse. I wish I didn't have to work on my 3500-word paper this weekend. I'm still beat from my cold this past week, so I could use the rest. Guess I'll have to live with it. At least I won't have to catch up on the reading I'm skipping. Unfortunately, I've got another paper to work on (this time a 2000-word paper) and a midterm on Wednesday. And my group project the week after. Fun never stops with me, does it?

Guess that's it for now. Another day in the ROK.
