Mar. 21st, 2006 05:07 pmWell, it turns out I'm not the only Mac user to have this problem with my printer--everyone's got this problem with this model of printer. I tried one option of switching to A4 paper, but that didn't work--it still spit out blank pages and it still printed with text misaligned. I did a printer callibration, so we'll see how that works. If it doesn't, I'm downloading a different driver to use with it. If that doesn't work, I'll switch back to my old printer. It's not the greatest, and I think it still might have a hint of cat spray to it, but at least it prints semi-well, even if the cartridges do get clogged from time to time.
Took my car in. They did the usual maintenance, but they couldn't get the antenna unscrewed either, so both antenna and base are going to have to be replaced. On top of that, part of the trim on my roof is coming unattached. They have to replace it on both sides because they changed the way that part attaches because I'm not the only one it happens to. I feel a pain in my wallet...
Really batting a thousand today, ain't I?
