Jul. 21st, 2006 07:53 pmFinally got the bookcases up and the doors on. (Let's see you spray on my books now TigerLily, ya bitch!) Got some knobs at work to replace the ones that came with them because they weren't that great. I'm thinking of getting a smaller wardrobe and putting it in another spot so I can have the bookcases next to each other; they look kinda strange on their own. Plus I can empty the space in that corner and have somewhere for the air conditioner to go in the off season. Got a new glass shade for my ceiling light at the same time.
It's funny how some coincidences happen. A few weeks ago, I was looking at the photo gallery on this site and saw photos that somebody took of trains in Britain that carry nuclear waste from Kent in the southeast to Cumbria in the northwest. I thought that something was wrong that it was possible for a photographer to take pictures of a train carrying nuclear waste AND upload them to the internet for everyone to see. Well, guess what was in the news today:
"Fake bomb planted on N-waste train"
A journalist actually managed to put a fake bomb on one of these trains and nobody stopped him. Guess I wasn't far off after all.
