Car-centric day
Feb. 1st, 2007 06:41 pmIt was a very car-centric day for me. Took my car in last night because it was due for maintenance. It's easier for me to leave it overnight and pick it up the next day because the dealer is across town and I need to get a ride to get home and go there in between. After I picked it up I got it washed and filled with gas. So now my car is clean and well-maintained!
So, to get to school today, I borrowed my mother's car. Had everything I needed--my laptop bag, my power cord (forgot that last week), and my key fob.
But not my parking permit. -_-
*slams forehead into brick wall* That's 50 bucks I didn't need to spend.
My mother got a new printer-scanner yesterday to replace her crappy Dell/Lexmark clone, so I need to install the stuff for that. She's got two printers--the Dell to use the scanner (the printer always sucked, and now the scanner sucks) and a six-year-old refurbished HP PhotoSmart printer that she keeps using because of the margins in her M$ Excel family tree files. It's still in pretty good shape when it wants to be, so maybe we can donate it to someone.
And now, for the hell of it:
