Midterm two of two complete. Second class is cancelled today, so no class until 2:30. I've got three hours to finish reading for that class and start reading for tomorrow's seminar. I've also gotten a couple books for an essay and photocopied a chapter for my oral presentation in about a month and a half.

When I was at the library, I browsed their annual display on banned books. I found it interesting that so many books were banned because of racist comments/treatment of African-Americans and aboriginals. It might be the WASP in me, but wouldn't it be better if reading these books was encouraged so kids have a case study of 'Don't let this happen again'? [/politics]

There's a rather interesting individual studying at MIT. While at college, a lot of students spend their free time watching TV, surfing the internet, or getting drunk. This guy invents stuff. He's already invented a needle-less way of giving vaccines, and now he's invented a device that allows second-wave emergency personnel to scale the walls of buildings with heavy equipment in minutes. I wonder how many job offers he's going to get this year!

Well, time for more reading. One and a half days more and I'll be done school for a week!
