Well that was brilliant

My father and I went out to dinner after work. When the meal came, I was shifting the lasagna dish's position on the serving dish it was on, forgetting that plates with hot food in them are generally hot as well. Got three burned fingers for my troubles.

Found out on Saturday or Sunday that I won a contest at work and nobody told me. Every statutory holiday (Easter, Victoria Day, etc) they have a draw of the people who volunteer to work that day and the winners get a day off without pay. I won for Easter Sunday but was not informed by anyone.

Glad to know where I fit in in the grand scheme of things at work!
