One Froggy Evening...

My throat has been sore all day in one big lump in the back. Thankfully I can swallow without that weird feeling that comes when a cold is coming on. Could be worse--no throwing up. On the other hand, I've been coughing roughly all day and it hurts a bit to swallow (though Haagen-Daaz chocolate ice cream goes down rather smoothly ;))

If my coughing is as rough tomorrow as it was today, I'll probably make a doctor's appointment. Last time my coughing was this bad, it turned out to be pneumonia. And the time before that when I was coughing and throwing up, it was croup (kindergarten, but still). Thankfully, tomorrow's my real day off so I won't have to call in sick.

On a good note, it smells like it's going to rain soon. I love when it rains in the summer here. It smells fresh and it cools things down quite well, even when it's humid.
