You might be an Anglophile if...
Apr. 21st, 2008 11:22 pm... your favoured method of time-travel is by police box, not a DeLorean.
... you appreciate sci-fi shows where the good guys occasionally *lose*.
... and where the "Federation" are the *bad* guys.
... your favourite naval vessel names start with "HMS" (or variants) rather than "USS". (HMCS for me!)
... your favourite aircraft were made by Avro, Handley-Page, Supermarine, deHavilland, English Electric and Vickers. (Avro CF-105 Arrow!)
... and they had actual names rather than numbers. (ditto)
... you say "reheat" instead of "afterburner". (I have to admit, I say afterburner *hangs head*)
... people saying "I went on Route 69" has you laughing in stitches.
... you can drink English ale and LIKE it. (if you drink)
... you know what "Toad in the hole", "Spotted Dick" and "Crumpet" are. (I think I know what the latter is, but not the first two)
... and can say the above without laughing.
... and can compose a sentence with any of the above with more innuendo than you can shake a stick at.
... you know what a "TOG" is. (I plead ignorance on this one)
... you secretly want to own a Mini Cooper with a Union Jack on the roof.
... you have chips with everything.
