Animal Rescue
May. 31st, 2008 12:18 amIt's been an interesting night. My mother could hear a chirping sound from the back of our back yard, and went out to investigate. She saw a raccoon in a neighbour's yard with a baby in her mouth, being moved from one location to another. However, the chirping was actually from another baby, who was stuck between another neighbour's shed and a rack that was leaning against it behind. She was only able to free it by cutting up a bit of trellis on the fence and lifting it away from the fence so the rack wouldn't be jammed in position. When she went back to the fence, the raccoon baby was on top, so it must be free now.
Never a dull evening around here!
