One small step for cat...

For the first time since I had my wisdom teeth removed, I did something unthinkable: showered, shaved, and brushed my teeth! Skipped the back molars, but it still counts. Also did my second brine-rinsing of the day out of six; tastes horrible, but does the job. Still waiting for my lip to defrost, but I'm doing pretty good under the circumstances. Ate half a scrambled egg and a banana out of the peel today.

Ran out of ink in my fountain pen cartridge, so I made the switch today to bottled ink in a converter. My poison of choice is Noodler's "Blue Upon the Plains of Abraham", a special issue sold only by a haberdasher's/tobacconist in downtown Toronto. It's more purple than blue on my paper (with some streaks of pink in it), but I didn't really give it a good job of mixing before filling. I'll give it a better shake next time.
