Aug. 14th, 2008 11:43 pmFrom the "It seemed like a good idea at the time" file: BC Place, the stadium in Vancouver that will be hosting the Opening/Closing Ceremonies in 2010, is a covered stadium. This is probably the first time that the ceremonies will be in a covered stadium, making the torch-lighting an interesting affair. However, it was announced a couple months ago that the stadium will be getting a new retractable roof to replace the ageing inflatable roof it currently has.
