What is wrong with the BC courts system?!

In 1997, she helped beat and kill another teenage girl in Victoria, leaving her bloodied body floating under a bridge. In 2000, her conviction was overturned on appeal. In 2004, she got a hung jury. In 2005, they finally convicted her of a murder that there's no doubt she helped commit, and now they're doing it again. Four trials she's had! By the time she's actually convicted, it'll be time for her to get out.

October 14th...

Federal election on October 14th. Goody. In the past five years that I've been eligible to vote, I've voted for six elections already: two municipal, two provincial, and two federal. This will be my seventh election already. I'm electioned out, and I'm probably not alone in this.
