In other news, I have to admire my mother. We put up with a lot from our neighbours--fireworks going off on non-holiday weekends, dogs barking for twenty minutes straight, and tonight's special, kids running around screaming at 11 PM. Most people would put up with it, but not my mommy. She went to the back door and yelled out "SHUT UP!" at the top of her lungs. And what do you know, it worked!
I'm going to have to write a story about my mother and her family some day. There's too much good material not to share with the world.
