Is this really the best reporting old media can afford?
A 'journalist' from the Kansas City Star (a newspaper of great influence) decided that it was a slow news day, so he wrote an editorial comparing the Vancouver Olympics to the Berlin Olympics of 1936, taking offence at the sudden show of patriotism from Canadians. How dare we be proud of our nation and not fawn over athletes from other countries!
If the hack could actually write a coherent article, I'd be offended!
