(no subject)

In yet another way, I'm an oddball. This time it's wardrobe. I cannot for the life of me get a pair of pants that fits off the rack. They're all too wide and too long, even the 30x30 pants. I found a pair that was 29x32 that had to be both taken in and hemmed--or I could have bought the 40x28 pants at Sears and had them really taken in. You can get big and short or thin and tall, but not thin and short. I could try the short men's store on Queen Street West, but I've heard that their clerks can be pushy (probably on commission). Apparently if you're half an inch below normal height and underweight, you don't exist to men's clothiers.

At least I can say that I'm a half-inch taller than Tom Cruise.
