Yayunemployment part 2
May. 28th, 2011 11:24 pmThe last two weeks were spent moving bits and pieces out of my apartment while searching for work. No response yet. Can't say I'm optimistic about finding work any time soon; I've been looking since January with no luck as it is. Still plenty to apply for though.
Today was the last of the move: furniture. The worn and tattered sofa didn't come with us; while helping with clean-up, my mother found black mold under the cushions. Into the garbage with it. Everything else was moved back and is now cluttering up the house until it can be shifted into its right places. The moving company can rot in hell; they took nearly two hours to cover a trip that we did in just over one and charged me three hundred dollars more than they charged me to move there a year ago. Last time I go with that company.
So now I am officially back home save for the final walk-through and handing over of the keys. 25 years old, unemployed, no girlfriend, and living with my parents. Joy to the world.
