The flag is still out of date...

...but the organization it represents is alive and well. This week the government announced that the traditional names of the Canadian Forces branches will be restored. Instead of the boring Land Command, Air Command, and Maritime Command, we will once again have Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Air Force, and Royal Canadian Navy. It's a shame I won't be at home this weekend to watch the first Snowbirds performance with the new name, but it's good to see the names restored all the same. Fellow monarchists and historians rejoice!

Now if they could only work on bringing back the Avro Arrow...
