Job's going okay. I'm tired and sore at the end of the day, but who isn't? Had to get one of my workboots repaired yesterday--the sole was coming off! But I'm being paid rather well--I've only got about 2200 left on my student loan, and I should have that paid off by the time I'm done working there in August. I have to stop then because I have to take my final exam in my history course and have a family reunion to go to.
Speaking of history, I'm not doing too awful. Got 65% on the first quiz, but I wasn't really trying hard enough to study. It's not easy to study or do schoolwork when you're only home and awake for about six hours of the day. I guess I'm going to have to do a lot more work on the weekends.
I go in an hour early today but only stay until about 1:45. But I have to be in at 11:30 tomorrow for four hours of overtime--but it's at the regular pay level because everyone had Monday off for Victoria Day. A national holiday, but we don't get paid at the overtime rate!
To get a little extra money, I'm probably going to work at the student-run bookstore for a few days at the beginning of September--they always hire extra people to work at the beginning of the semester when everyone's buying.
