Got up after six hours sleep to work for four and a half hours at my job because Toyota wants more cars made and has overtime every other Saturday. After that, I got a haircut and got lunch. Noticed there was a problem with my mother's printer, saying that the HP colour cartidge was incompatible, and to "Use HP-compatible products." So I changed it, and the test page shows blue as almost green and yellow as almost tan.
Did three spyware scans on her computer and found a total of sixteen infections. It's using a Pentium III, which makes running it slow enough as it is. And the monitor is starting to flicker slightly. When it goes, I'll probably give her my old Toshiba laptop. It's got something rattling around inside it, but she doesn't take a computer anywhere, so that shouldn't be a problem. I'd put her on Linux, but the family tree software we use is Windows and Mac-only, and she refuses to re-enter all four thousand people. But there is a program that allows Windows software to run on Linux, so maybe I'll try that. Don't need to worry about her installing programs with code--she doesn't even know how to install programs with Windows!
Tonight will probably have me catching up on history reading and on tv shows that I missed during the week while I was working. I really lead a wild life, don't I?
