Making appointments
Jun. 21st, 2006 02:34 pmAfter wrestling with the Ministry of Transportation's Internet Exploder-only booking website, I have made an appointment for my final driving test. If all goes well, I should get my full licence on October 2nd, starting at 10 in the morning. Since my G2 learner's licence expires on the 17th and I only have until the end of November to get my full licence, I'm really hoping that I'll get it on the 2nd!
Also booked an appointment to have my baby's oil changed on Monday and a podiatrist's appointment in about three weeks. My toes have been bothering me since I started wearing steel-toed boots again regularly, so I need to get them checked.
Met with my father, uncle, and friends of his to talk about a company they're starting up that I'm thinking of investing in. I've got a thousand already invested in stocks that isn't doing anything, so this might actually turn into something more than that. Can't say anything about the company--any info is subject to a do-not-disclose contract. Looks promising though.
