This was supposed to be such a good day...

I had everything planned out. I'd be at work for only four hours, then straight out to Kitchener to pick up my repaired laptop (there was a screw rattling loose in the lid). Now, I'm not going to work and my cold-infected mother may have to pick up the laptop for me if she can because I woke up at three in the morning with an upset stomach...( TMI from here on )

FYI, there is no such thing as 'stomach flu.' It's all food poisoning in one degree or another, but we don't realize it. (One of the only things I learned from two years of agriculture college).

I've got to admit...it's getting better...getting better...all the time

Feeling a bit better. Still a bit sore in my stomach, but that's probably from all the muscles strained in the process. I'm starting to drink water again, so I'll be rehydrated soon.

My mother got a call from a woman in Preston (part of our part of Cambridge) who is interested in the cats. She lives in an apartment and had two cats, one named Data and one named Q, but Q's missing so she wants another cat; my mother suggested Guinan!

Recently, Buster and Oreo have been voicing their opinions on the new kittens--on every surface they can find at butt level. However, today, Buster licked Brandon's forehead! And right now, the kittens are outside with him and he's snarling at a stray to protect them. I think the boys will be warming up to them shortly. TigerLily is still a wreck, but she doesn't like change much Pepper is hiding in my room and hisses at them, but she always did that so no change there.

PLUS, my mother is going to pick my computer up for me. I can get all my settings back!
