Backyard menagerie
Jun. 8th, 2007 12:09 amWe managed to find out who owns the mommy-to-be. She lives in a house that backs on to our neighbour's house, but is close enough that the cat can just walk along the back fence to our yard. So we know where the kittens can go if they're born in our back yard.
We've also discovered a new member of the family: somebody's pet rabbit. That's right, there's a grey rabbit that visits our back yard every day for a snack and some companionship from the resident cats, who, oddly enough, love playing with it. We're assuming it's a pet, but it could be wild. We don't know for sure.
TigerLily's getting better. Her wounds weren't healing quickly, so she went in last week to have what was left of the damaged skin restitched. She'll hopefully be getting her cone collar off Saturday; she's not exactly pleased to have it on.
I've got two days off in a row for once, rather than split up. Day two is tomorrow!
