Jun. 11th, 2007 06:29 pmRather than wait until Saturday, we had TigerLily's stitches taken out on Friday. She's doing quite well, and is hissing at other cats so she must be feeling good!
We've got a new addition to the menagerie; now it's a grey tabby with white patches. It would be so nice to be able to truck all these cats over to the humane society, but, alas, they've got owners. Lousy owners, but owners none the less, so we're stuck with them.
Not much going on here; get up--go to work--come home--go to bed--repeat. Going to a friend's wedding on Saturday, the one my mother helped get engaged. From what I've heard about the preparations and planning, it sounds like it's going to be dinner and a show once the in-laws and relatives are all in one room. I'm not honestly sure if this marriage is going to last, though. Both the bride and groom grew up with domineering parents, and both are rather emotionally fragile. Plus, there aren't any real plans for after the honeymoon is over, except for what's already been accomplished (moving in to a house in another town). I think there's going to be a rather rude awakening before the first anniversary.
