Haven't really posted any real content on here in a while. So, to rectify the situation, here's a recap of the last few days.
I went to the dermatologist a week ago because of my acne and a scar on my neck where a pimple used to be. Got some face cream to take care of the acne (that's drying out my skin--annoying but necessary) and something he'll inject in my scar to make it flatten a bit. Can't lop it off because the scar tissue will just grow back. I have to be careful when putting the cream on because a day later I grazed my neck while shaving and it's still irritated.
Went to Humber College's Lakeshore campus to tour around the place and ask about the program I'm interested in. I'm hoping for the "Arts Administration: Cultural Management" postgrad program. It's arts but I don't have to analyze any exhibits or work with the public very much. The college is nice, but the neighbourhood is a total dive. At least there's a tram stop on the edge of campus.
There's a similar program I'm interested in at the University of Windsor. That would probably work out better because almost everyone in my mother's family lives there. Hell, the bricks for one of their buildings came from my great-great-grandfather's brick works! We'll have to see how it works.
I've been dabbling in one of the projects of my latest group, the United Commonwealth Society. One of their current projects is the twinning of towns and cities throughout the Commonwealth, and I had a few suggestions ( behind here )
Thoughts from the fellow Commonwealth dwellers?
Tomorrow I work for five hours, then the day is mine. I need to make another dermatologist appointment to have my meds injected.
