It begins...
Sep. 10th, 2007 07:50 pmFirst day of school today. My schedule currently has me doing the following:
HIST*3820: Early Modern France, 9:30-10:20 MWF
HIST*4710: Topics in Medieval History, 8:30-9:50 TTH (the topic chosen is medieval sexuality; should be a good jolt awake in the morning)
HIST*4050: Topics in Scottish History, 4:30-5:20 TTH (layover of six hours in between; at least I'll get stuff done)
PHYS*1600: Contemporary Astronomy, distance education (some access to the school's telescope in September, but I think it's just a plus, not a requirement)
So, it should be an interesting semester, especially if I don't get hours at work. They're starting to give them out with an eyedropper again because there are too many people, not enough hours.
The two boys got fixed today; my mother forgot to have them microchipped, so she saved a bit of money for a while. We'll probably get it done when they get in a fight and need surgery (it WILL happen) and save on the anaesthetic fee--it hurts to have it put in. She also did something else without telling me: changed their names. We just call them Nibs and Tabs at home, but their official names were Edward and Brandon. Not any more (ping
