Now THAT's time travel
BBC Kids has gone way back in time in their broadcast of the old Doctor Who shows. They've gone back to the early 1970s in the time of the Third Doctor, John Pertwee, and companion Sarah Jane Smith. Good writing, though some of the actions are rather lame, like a ventilation grill that is impossible to remove one moment and hanging by one nail the next. Still good to see for continuity's sake.
School is slowly getting better. I'm caught up in my German history schoolwork, though my in-house classes are going to be rather tough. Fortunately I've got a light weekend at work to do reading in. I have a Canadian Political History seminar next week that I need to lead with a classmate, but it will be out of the way soon. My other seminar is the week after Reading Week, so I've got plenty of prep time for it. Essays are going to be interesting.
I have an interview tomorrow morning at the Waterloo Regional Children's Museum to do volunteer work. I need to do something to have on my resume, and if I can get an office spot it will be perfect. I'd rather get a job away from the public area if I can help it; I can only tolerate kids for so long.
