It's been busy...

...so here's a mega-update of what's been going on the past week and a bit.

My mother spent the weekend in Windsor to visit my grandparents, go to my cousin's bridal shower, and pick up our new pet--my aunt's turtle. One of her sons got it as a present, and they've been keeping it in an aquarium ever since. Unfortunately, it's been growing a little too big for its home, so now it has a new home in the pond in our back yard and another one we set up in the basement for it to stay in over night to avoid disaster.

This weekend, I'm on the road. As I write this, I'm in Lewisburg, West Virginia. The same folks I got together with two years ago in Atlanta are visiting here, since two of them live outside the town on a farm. Took eleven hours to get here, including breaks for food and bathrooms and traffic around accidents and construction zones. My driving leg isn't speaking to me right now! We'll be visiting their farm, going on a tourist train ride, visiting a cave, and visiting a radio telescope in the area. Should be fun!

Well, that's all for now. Not much of an update, but I'm tired and it's been busy XD
