Brilliant idea with one odd component
Mar. 22nd, 2011 08:53 pmI like trains--that's hardly a secret to those of you who know me. As it turns out, so are the actors behind Mad Men characters Pete Campbell and Harry Crane, going so far as to make a video for the passenger rail group US PIRG:
One tiny problem with the ad: at the end, they say that you can go to the group's website to get a free bumper sticker. Would anyone like to tell the class what's wrong with wanting a bumper sticker to promote trains?
I'm surprised they didn't get the actor who played Paul Kinsey in the clip as well; in a season 3 episode he lamented the coming demolition of New York's Penn Station, now housed in the subbasement of a skyscraper.
