One more assignment under my belt--a 1500-word/4-6 page optimum book review of one of two books for my German history class. I chose Rites of Spring by Modris Eksteins. Managed to start the sixth page when I ran out of things to say.
Not much scheduled tomorrow; picking up books at the library, pretending to read them so I can start writing my essay (I have to write two 15-page essays by the end of the month) and doing textbook reading. Blah blah blah.
Haven't had much else going on in my life, lately. Just going through the rhythms of home-school-home-work-home-school-home-work-home. Seeking solace and finding a distraction on the internet and TV. The Godfather's on right now; they have played this movie so many times in the last couple months, it's ridiculous. We're about to get to the baptism scene--my favourite part of the first movie. I like the second one better, though.
In other news, two of our youngest boys, Edward and Brandon/Nibs and Tabs, will be turning a year old on Tuesday. My mother sent out birthday cards to their brother and sister at other homes. They're doing quite well, but their brother, Duke (the grey and white one), is concerning to us. He eats the same food as the other cat he lives with, eats at the same time and the same amounts, but weighs about twenty pounds. Something's not right there.
