Another drama post; feel free to ignore

I've blocked her from my life for about a month, now, and she's still following my journal. So either she hasn't noticed that I've kicked her out of my life (which I doubt; I said it pretty clearly) or she doesn't care (which, sadly, wouldn't surprise me).
This begs the question: why do I care?! The bitch has strung me along, kept me hanging, and made promise after promise (each of which she's yet to keep) for quite some time, but I keep checking to see if she's still following my journal. Her claws are still stuck in me.
Reading this makes me remember one of the last times we talked; I spent part of the night trying to convince her she wasn't a slut. Maybe she was right. Maybe I should have seen that as a warning, rather than as her in a bad mood.

Date: 2008-10-13 01:56 am (UTC)Ah, apathy--my second-best friend after my laptop.
Haven't heard from you for a while; how have things been?

Date: 2008-10-13 01:59 am (UTC)And things've been good. I'm still plugging away at my courses here at Guelph. Hoping I finish my degree before the end of next year, going over that would make me very unhappy. And trying to get back into honours. Oy. Good times, good times.

Date: 2008-10-13 02:02 am (UTC)Yeah, I know what you mean about finishing by a certain time. I started at the OAC, but transferred to history after a year. Had to sacrifice a few classes I wanted to take so I could meet my requirements and still be gone before I turned 40 XD
Remind me which degree you're aiming for?

Date: 2008-10-13 02:17 am (UTC)Almost makes me want to throttle the son of a woman my mother works with; he did the same B.Comp program, but he did all the reading and research at a rate that he finished a year early and didn't bother to finish his courses. She keeps telling him to go back, but he's happy with his job. The snot! XD
